Hi, I had gone to the holy city of Trambakeshwar, near Nashik on Saturday.
The village has its own aura with devotees coming from all over the country to pray, and seek peace for their forefathers. The place is also known for the Kalsarp puja.
Apart from its spiritual importance, the village has its own beauty. Its surrounded by huge mountains on one side and has more than 3 ponds where devotees bath during maha kumbh mela.
On Saturday, thats 20th of June, 2009, it rained for the first time in this monsoon, creating an atmosphere which made the landscape heavenly.
My route to Trambakeshwar-
Took train from CSTM for Nashik Road–4.5 hour
Took state transport bus for central bus station (CBS) from Nashik Road–15 to 20 min
From CBS, direct buses for Trambakeshwar are available–35 to 40 min
